Using pesticides on your lawn is one of the worst possible things you can do to yourself. These pesticides such as 2,4-D cause infertility and leukemia. Basically you have a nice lawn but your chances of having cancer are much higher and there is a chance of you not being able to have kids. I think I would rather have weeds. Better solutions are to use organic lawn care practices such as corn gluten, slit-seeding, nematodes and others. It might be some more work but it is always better than having a permanent defect or disease for the rest of your life. Monday, May 10, 2010

That ties in with my blog. Overall, pesticides cost more in health costs than they save.
